CORPORATE
SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY
We are passionate about engaging with the communities in which we work.

WE BELIEVE OUR DEVELOPMENTS SHOULD POSITIVELY IMPACT LOCAL PEOPLE, LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

That’s why we make it a prerequisite that our schemes must employ a local supply chain, provide opportunities for young people including apprentices, and become an education tool for schools, colleges and universities, as well as actively engaging in a number of community initiatives.

Through Crossfield Exclusive Developments’ projects we have achieved the following corporate social responsibility targets over the past two years:

FIVE APPRENTICES
EMPLOYED

CAREERS TALKS TO OVER
100 YOUNG PEOPLE

15 WORK
PLACEMENTS

30 SITE VISITS WITH
LOCAL YOUNG PEOPLE

100% LOCAL SUPPLY
CHAIN ON OUR PROJECTS

SPONSORSHIP OF EIGHT
LOCAL FOOTBALL TEAMS

PARTNERSHIP WITH EVERTON IN THE COMMUNITY TO
SUPPORT THEIR 'GET INTO CONSTRUCTION' PROGRAMME

40 new employment opportunities for local
people through our construction partner

AWAKE INITIATIVE

In 2020, we launched a joint initiative with ‘Awake’, a new self-development centre in Liverpool. The facility aims to improve the quality of life of every person that visits through physical fitness, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. We’ve supported the centre with a substantial sponsorship to specifically focus on supporting young people in the City. This enables Awake to provide a full timetable of free classes to children with the sole aim of combating and preventing mental disorders whilst promoting inner peace, health and wellbeing.

As part of the Awake project, we also support the ‘I Am Project’ spearheaded by Managing Director Mark Scanlon. This offers martial arts training, mentoring across local schools and mindfulness techniques to as many children in the City as we can support.

“Mental Health disorders have become more common and helping people who are struggling is something I feel very passionate about.”
Mark Scanlon, Co-founder of Awake.

EXAMPLES OF OUR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

BALTIC VIEW

On this apartment scheme in Liverpool, we have actively engaged with local charity Everton in the Community to provide extensive opportunities for local young people.

This has included: 30 site visits; careers talks; live demonstrations on site; follow up site visits; construction team building exercises; supporting a Dragons Den-style young persons' entrepreneur activity;

“It's really encouraging to see the site now being developed by Crossfield Exclusive Developments, who share in the area’s vision and have engaged with the stakeholders right from the start. This is an example of how the area can retain its identity and continue to see positive growth over the coming years, with everyone working together."
Liam Kelly, Chair, Baltic Triangle Area Company
"It is thanks to the commitment of partners such as yourselves that our charity can continue to grow"
